I am a single mother of three children so I understand how hard it is for mothers to find time to exercise and take time for themselves. This website was born out of a desire to help time poor stay at home mums, working mums, busy workers, and any one who wants to look after their health but feels they don’t have time.
I am a certified personal trainer with the American Council of Exercise and the Auckland University of Technology. I am an experienced and certified Les Mills Group Fitness Instructor in many Les Mills programs, a Pilates Instructor with the Pilates Institute of Australasia and I have 20+ years of experience in gyms in many roles from Instructor to Personal Trainer to Manager.
I am also a holistic health coach, writer, foodie, dancer (for my soul, not professionally) and I’m studying at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to further my education in health coaching.
I am the creator/founder of the highly successful Women’s 12 Week Challenge, an event in the Queenstown (NZ) Winter Festival where women are invited to write in and say why they would like to lose weight and get fit. We would chose 20 of the hundreds who applied and take them through a 12 week transformation which would include personal training, nutrition, cooking classes, shopping classes, health and lifestyle coaching and ended in a runway show. The women would walk the catwalk with their new look, body, hair, makeup, new clothes and more importantly new found confidence and the knowledge to improve their health for life. This was life-changing! It was an inspiring event and one of my most rewarding. This brought tears to my eyes, I was so happy and proud of all the women and what they had accomplished. Their lives and their families lives were transformed.
