Hi, I’m Holly and I am a holistic fitness, nutrition and wellness coach. I believe in the powerful connection between body, mind, soul and spirit. I have been in the wonderful health and fitness industry for over twenty years and I have been on a mission to get as many people as I can in shape and motivate them to lead a healthy lifestyle. There is nothing more satisfying for me than seeing the positive impact my nutrition and workout programs have had on other people’s lives. Their change in lifestyle is not only about appearance and health; it affects all aspects of my client’s lives for the better. That’s what motivates me to keep doing what I do.

I am a single mother of three children so I understand how hard it is for mothers to find time to exercise and take time for themselves. This website was born out of a desire to help time poor stay at home mums, working mums, busy workers, and any one who wants to look after their health but feels they don’t have time.

I am a certified personal trainer with the American Council of Exercise and the Auckland University of Technology.  I am an experienced and certified Les Mills Group Fitness Instructor in many Les Mills programs, a Pilates Instructor with the Pilates Institute of Australasia and I have 20+ years of experience in gyms in many roles from Instructor to Personal Trainer to Manager.

I am also a holistic health coach, writer, foodie, dancer (for my soul, not professionally) and I’m studying at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to further my education in health coaching.

I am the creator/founder of the highly successful Women’s 12 Week Challenge, an event in the Queenstown (NZ) Winter Festival where women are invited to write in and say why they would like to lose weight and get fit. We would chose 20 of the hundreds who applied and take them through a 12 week transformation which would include personal training, nutrition, cooking classes, shopping classes, health and lifestyle coaching and ended in a runway show.  The women would walk the catwalk with their new look, body, hair, makeup, new clothes and more importantly new found confidence and the knowledge to improve their health for life. This was life-changing! It was an inspiring event and one of my most rewarding.  This brought tears to my eyes, I was so happy and proud of all the women and what they had accomplished.  Their lives and their families lives were transformed.

I love helping people to become healthy and get fit. It makes me jump out of bed in the morning and has always been my passion. I’ve never wanted to do anything else.

Living this health and fitness lifestyle has been my whole life and when life dealt me some serious blows, helping people saw me through a very difficult period.

My mission is to educate and inspire people to improve their health, fitness and happiness through natural food, functional movement and living well.

I am eternally grateful that I found this lifestyle and that I have the knowledge and passion to help others. I want to share my passion with you and help you be everything you dream to be!

I walk the talk and live the lifestyle I preach. I want to motivate everyone with my own personal determination and show that everyone is capable of getting awesome results with my health and wellness programs and effective, efficient workouts. All you have to do is eat for health and get into your workout clothes and give your training all you have got. It is also important to balance your hard workouts with gentler exercise (workin) like Yoga, Pilates and Stretch and take time out to relax and unwind, spend time with people you love and doing things you love.

We possess the power to create our own health, vitality and happiness. I totally believe that eating clean whole, natural, real food is the best for my health and the health of my children. I hope to help you and your family discover that it doesn’t have to be hard or expensive to eat this way. You and your children will learn about food, where it comes from and how real food tastes, looks and makes you feel.  Eating clean is tasty, affordable and positive for our bodies and our planet.  We only have one beautiful Earth and we need to look after it for our children and children’s children.

My family and I have never felt better, we eat wholefoods, lots of vegetables, real as close to nature as possible food and avoid all the processed crap. As more and more people learn to eat the clean eating way we can bring the cost of organic whole foods down.  Trust me, you won’t miss gluten, sugar and processed food. You will discover how good real food can taste. I started this website as I feel strongly about helping as many people as I can discover how good they can feel.   I want to share with you what eating real food has done for myself and my family. I know what it’s like to feel too tired to get out of bed in the morning or to wake several times in the night or to be too wired to fall asleep. You will rediscover a vitality that is rightfully yours!

I do believe in eating real, as-close-to-nature-as-possible foods and cutting out all the crap we don’t need; artificial sweeteners, refined sugar, preservatives and chemicals. When you eat clean real foods, you never count calories or worry about weight gain. Every meal you create with love and real food thus real health and optimal weight will come naturally.

Each day I’m learning more and more that I want to share with you. I’m discovering new foods, new ingredients and that food is a powerful medicine, with powerful healing properties and that living well is all about care, kindness for people and the planet.

I believe in a healthy lifestyle and a healthy planet.  I live environmentally friendly, use less, buy less and downsize where possible.  My belief is to live compassionately.  Care for yourself, your family and others.  Be kind. The most attractive quality in a person is kindness I believe. I believe in helping people and sharing what you have, whether it be knowledge or resources.

Ask yourself, what is the most important thing in your life? Is it family? I know as mums we will do anything for the good of our children. Look after their health and set them up for a healthy life by good role modeling and teaching all about our food. Kids love to learn, get them involved in the kitchen and garden. They will love it! Play active games and sports with them, show them you are an active healthy adult who leads a healthy lifestyle.

I’m a bit of a hippie in that I have always cared about the environment, treading lightly on this earth and caring for the planet we live on for ourselves and for our children. I was brought up on an island where we had a large section with many fruit trees, large vegetable gardens and we had chickens, turkeys and even lambs. My mum home cooked and baked, sewed our clothes, and we made most things, including home made ginger beer and I think I remember some home brew going on as well!

We used to dig for pippies and cockles in the sand and spent a lot of our time outdoors and very happy. Fast forward to today and this is a different story for our children. I want to bring back a bit of those times. Go back to eating clean and real, and living more in tune with nature.

Lets take care of the beautiful planet we live on and leave it clean for our children and our children’s children.
